MEMBERSHIP

Thank you for your interest in the Oklahoma Golf Course Superintendents Association.  Our Association has 219 members with golf course superintendents making up half that amount.  The remainder are either business professionals that service the turfgrass industry, honorary members (university faculty members) , and turfgrass students.  The purpose of the Oklahoma Golf Course Superintendents Association is to advance the art and science of golf course maintenance  through the support of research, education, exchange of ideas, and the mutual cooperation of its membership.  It shall also be the purpose of the Association to cooperate with and support the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

We hold meetings in January, February, March, April, a May play day, September, and October.  We hold a scholarship/research golf tournament in May  co-sponsored by the Oklahoma Turfgrass Research Foundation to help with scholarships given out by our association.  We also have a golf tournament at the  annual meeting.  Winner of that tournament gets their way paid to the GCSAA Golf Tournament if attending.

The Oklahoma Golf Course Superintendents Association welcomes persons who are supportive of our associations goals.  Please consider becoming a member of our association.

Annual dues are $75.00 for Class A and Class SM Superintendent.  Assistant Superintendents and Associate members are $50.00.  Student dues are $10.00.  There is no charge for honorary and retired-lifetime members and those individuals can attend meetings for no charge (except the annual tournament). 

 There are various levels for our vendors.  We have a Bronze level that includes 1 membership, annual meeting fee, and 1/2 page ad in the yearly directory and the cost is $500.00 yearly.  The Silver level includes everything in the Bronze level plus 1 additional membership (2) and a full page ad in the annual directory and the cost is $1,000.00.  The Gold level includes both the Bronze and Silver levels plus 1 additional membership (3), your company logo on banner, and a tee box at the annual meeting/golf tournament, and a full page ad in the yearly directory and the cost is $1,500.00.  The Platinum level includes Bronze, Silver and Gold level with 1 additional membership (4), sponsorship of a monthly meeting, a team in the OTRF/OGCSA Scholarship Tournament and a hole sign at the annual meeting/golf tournament and the cost is $2,500.00.
